Cal/OSHA Publications

Cal/OSHA provides a wide range of educational materials and resources to help keep California workplaces safe.

All publications are available for download below. Physical copies may also be available for pickup at your local Cal/OSHA office. We recommend calling the office in advance to ensure the specific materials you need are in stock.

Model programs are provided in Microsoft Word format so that they can be easily customized for the workplace. If you do not use Microsoft Office, these documents are compatible with most free word-processing software and web-based document editors.

Official California workplace postings are available for download.

What does Cal/OSHA Consultation Service do? • It provides safety and health assistance to employers through its free onsite consultation and a variety of other services • Our professional staff helps companies prevent occupational injuries and illnesses and save money.

What does an employer requested on-site Consultation cost? Nothing. It’s free - your tax dollars at work!

Will Cal/OSHA Enforcement know we are working with Consultation? No. We are completely separate programs. We do not share information with Cal/OSHA Enforcement.

Will you “OSHA Proof” me? No. Our visit is representative of the day of our visit. We can’t guarantee that Enforcement wouldn’t find any violations. But an onsite consultation visit may make an inspection much less likely and less serious.
